The game begins with a partially-filled grid of numbers, and the player must fill in the rest of the grid. The rules are simple: each row and column must contain the numbers 1 through 9 exactly once, and each of the nine 3x3 sub-grids of the larger grid must also contain the numbers 1 through 9 exactly once.
To play the game, the player must tap on a square in the grid to select it, and then tap on a number at the bottom of the screen to place it in the selected square. If the number is not valid according to the rules of the game, it will be highlighted in red, and the player must try again. If the number is valid, it will be placed in the square, and the player can move on to the next square.
