Plants vs. Zombies is a popular tower defense game developed and published by PopCap Games. The game features a fun and quirky art style, where players must defend their house from waves of invading zombies by strategically planting various types of plants with unique abilities to stop them in their tracks.
The game consists of various levels, each with a different layout and zombie type. At the start of each level, players are given a limited amount of sun, which is the currency used to purchase plants. The sun can be collected by clicking on sunflowers or other sun-producing plants, or by defeating certain types of zombies.

1. Start by selecting a level from the game's main menu. Each level has a different layout and set of obstacles, so choose one that looks interesting to you.
2. Once you start a level, you'll notice that there are a few rows of grass where you can plant your plants. There are several types of plants available, each with its own abilities and strengths. You can see the available plants at the bottom of the screen.
3. To plant a plant, simply tap on its icon at the bottom of the screen and then tap on the grass where you want to plant it. Each plant costs a certain amount of sun, which you can collect by tapping on the sunflowers that periodically appear on the screen.
4. As you progress through the level, zombies will start appearing from the right side of the screen. Your goal is to stop them from reaching the left side, where your house is located. To do this, you'll need to use your plants to attack the zombies.
5. Each plant has its own attack style, so you'll need to use a variety of plants to take down the different types of zombies that appear. Some zombies wear helmets, for example, which require stronger attacks to break through.
6. As you play, you'll earn coins that you can use to buy new plants and upgrades. You can access the store by tapping on the cart icon at the top of the screen.
7. If a zombie reaches your house, you'll lose a life. You start with three lives, and if you lose them all, the game is over.
